About The Bushcraft Company
The Bushcraft Company delivers Bushcraft and Mountain Craft training from locations across the UK and abroad. We work closely with many independent businesses, as well as running summer camps during the school holidays and half-terms. We develop fantastic relationships with our clients, all of whom return to us each year.

The company was founded by Alex McBarnet, who was introduced to the outdoors with the formation of the Mountaineering Club at Moor Park School in Shropshire. After leaving preparatory school and while at Cheltenham College he began learning Bushcraft under the world famous survival expert Ray Mears. The subject saw Alex travel to every extreme environment on the planet to put his skills to the test.

The Bushcraft Company delivers many courses to varied audiences and has a team of highly motivated and very enthusiastic staff.

"It was a pleasure to watch all your team be genuinely interested in talking to and being there for the boys, from the very start of the day to the bedding down at the end."
Richard Bradwell, Summer Fields School

"Despite some initial trepidation, I was very impressed with how everyone in the team got stuck in. This was largely down to the expertise and passion for bushcraft demonstrated by all members of the The Bushcraft Company team. As a result we were soon thoroughly engaged in making fires, cooking and building shelters. This was both a unique and valuable experience for each of us and an incredibly worthwhile use of our time. My thanks to all involved."
Paul Joseph, Manager, Finance Department, Microsoft
