Cornbury Deer Park is open annually on New Year’s Day to Charlbury residents wishing to walk off any Christmas excesses or simply to enjoy the fresh air and the magnificent sight of the various herds of deer. The park is home to Muntjac, Sika and Fallow deer, the Sika herd being one of the largest in England. The mild weather this year led to record numbers enjoying the park.
